This data set shows e-Commerce gross value added by industry for year 2005 to 2018. Compilation of data for year 2005 to 2009 are using base year 2005 meanwhile for year 2010 onwards are using base year 2010.

e-Commerce transaction is the sale or purchase of goods or services, conducted over computer networks by methods specifically designed for the purpose of receiving or placing of orders. e-Commerce transaction can be between enterprises, households, individuals, governments, and other public or private organisations. Method of payment and the ultimate delivery of the e-Commerce goods or services might be done through computer network/ internet or traditionally. e-Commerce transaction includes orders made in web pages, extranet or Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). Nevertheless, orders made by telephone calls, facsimile, or manually typed e-mail are not categorized as an e-Commerce transaction.
